All boys have the opportunity to spend time for reflection away from the College.

  • All First Year boys enjoy a retreat at St Cassians, Kintbury during their first half term.

  • Retreats for older students to Myddleton Grange in West Yorkshire, are not only much enjoyed by all who go, but produce fruit in terms of regular assistance at Cornerstone, the Christian Brothers’ project in Moss Side to help disadvantaged and vulnerable homeless people.

  • In addition in recent years the College has formed strong links with Revive a refuge for asylum seekers which is based in Salford.

  • The Upper Room is a place of sanctity and of quiet, for developing our faith in God, where the prayer group meet weekly to discuss issues of faith and to put that faith into practice and action in terms of the Holy Mass and Catholic Social Teaching.

  •  Holy Mass is regularly celebrated in Holy Angels, our  parish church.

  • In some cases silence is dangerous.
