Effort
A=Excellent: efforts should assist achievement of maximum potential.
B=Good: progressing towards maximum potential, but some further improvement required.
C=Coasting: efforts only meet minimum requirements towards achieving potential.
D=Poor: current efforts are likely to lead to underachievement.
E=Very poor: serious course for concern; significant remedial action required.
Behaviour
A= Excellent: Always exemplary; can be relied on to be sensible and stay on task. Shows great respect for the rights of others to teach / learn.
B= Good: Maintains a high standard of self-discipline in nearly all circumstances; rarely needs to be reminded to stay on task. Co-operates readily with staff and fellow pupils.
C= Satisfactory: Mostly of an acceptable standard. Occasionally needs a reminder to stay on task. Usually allows others to work without interruption.
D= Poor: Needs to be reminded often about staying on task; often disrupts others and wastes time in lessons.
E= Unacceptable: Very poor self-discipline; has to be reminded regularly to stay on task. Talks out of turn; disrupts the learning of others.
Homework
A= Excellent: Homework is always completed to the best of ability.
B= Good: Homework is usually completed to the best of ability.
C= Coasting: Homework is generally completed but could be improved.
D= Poor: Homework is generally only the minimum necessary.
E= Very poor: Homework is often below the standard required.
