GCSE Information Evenings are usually held at the beginning of the Michaelmas term for Year 10 and 11 students. The purpose of the event is to provide information to parents and carers on how best to support their son in their GCSE studies and to communicate what we as a college are doing to guide and prepare each student.
Topics covered will include:
Pastoral structure/support and maintaining student well being
Attitude to learning, revision techniques and planning
English & Maths
Attainment 8 scores and the points required to attend Sixth Form.
