summer 2021 examinations - ofqual consultation
The Government has announced that the GCSE and A Level examinations will not go ahead as planned this summer. Ofqual and the Department for Education want to hear the views of those students affected, their parents and carers, their teachers, school and college leaders and others who have an interest, including further and higher education providers, and employers. The consultation will close at 23:45 on 29th January 2021.
Exam Dates and Times
All students will be provided with a copy of their own exam timetable.
AM exams commence at 9:00 and PM exams commence at 13:30.

National Contingency day
The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), the organisation overseeing arrangements for GCSE and GCE examinations have announced a National Contingency Day which would be invoked in the event of widespread, sustained national or local disruption to examinations.
The National Contingency Day would allow any examinations to be postponed in the event of an incident to a later date to allow all students a fair and equal chance.

All students must be available to sit examinations on the National Contingency Day.
