Sixth form Admissions

Join our sixth form

We are proud to have a thriving and lively Sixth Form at St Ambrose College offering a wide range of subjects and enrichment opportunities.  Whilst the majority of places in the Sixth Form are taken up by St Ambrose College students who chose to continue their studies with us beyond GCSE there are also places available each year for new students and we welcome applications from external students who would like to join the Sixth Form.

SIXTH FORM OPEN EVENING

There will be a Sixth Form Open Evening at the College on Wednesday 8th November 2023 from 6-8pm.  The evening is a chance for current St Ambrose College students and prospective Sixth Formers currently studying at other schools to get a sense of what it would be like to study for A-Levels at the College.

The format of the evening involves short talks from the Principal, Director of Sixth Form and current pupils who have either joined us from elsewhere or have been at the College since Year 7.  Please see the Schedule for the Open Evening below.

Prospective students and parents will have the opportunity to attend subject talks in order to gain a better understanding of the subjects they are interested in pursuing at A Level.

Advice on admissions will also be available on the evening.

Online applications will open on Thursday 9th November.  The deadline for applications is Thursday 8th February 2024.
